Lily’s school was closed last Friday so we went to the Royal Ontario Museum to check out the new Maya exhibition
I actually thought that, besides the obvious changes (like pronouncing Ts as Ds), her accent hadn’t changed a lot… until I compared it with this one from last year:

We’re in Quebec City having a mini-break for Caroline’s birthday. I’ll post some photos later (honest) but in the meantime thanks to everyone who sent a photo for the card, she was really delighted! There are a few extra pictures behind the back row – I ran out of space, but I did include everyone who sent a photo.

The weekend before last we bought pumpkins, last Sunday night we carved them, Monday we went Trick or Treating and yesterday I lectured the kids about the evils of high fructose corn syrup…
It’s fine to be a spoilsport once it’s all over!
Phone spam

We get two or three robot phone spam calls a day. If their goal is to annoy me then the one I just received is a clear winner.
It played the sound of a fog horn blasting right in my ear.
Followed by “Hello, this is your captain speaking. You have won…” at which point I hung up.
Silly spammers!
