I’m a friend

25/06/11

Harry’s room sang this song for his daycare’s Summer Concert earlier this week (accompanied by me!). You can’t actually see him in the show here but you can see him practicing… and here are the words if you want to sing along!

I’m a friend, so are you
Friendship is like special glue
‘Cause we stick together, never fall apart
Friendship is a special art.

We are friends, night and day
Friends at work and friends at play
Doesn’t matter if we’re happy or we’re sad
Friendship always makes us glad.

Friends like us always share
Sharing shows how much we care
We can share a snack, a story or a toy
Friendship brings us special joy!

    • Thanks Emma, your exuberant kisses have broken out of the box…

I also played at their Winter concert which was a bit less successful cause the song was too hard.

It was to this tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-WLGZQD8Ds
